Method

Remove rosemary from the stems and give it a loose chop to release the natural oils

Bring 1 cup of water to a boil in a pot. Turn off the heat, add in the rosemary sprigs, put the lid on the pot and let it steep for 30 minutes. You can also pour boiling water and add the rosemary to a teapot

Strain the rosemary sprigs from the water and let it cool

Pour 1/2 cup of apple cider vinegar into a clean, sanitized spray bottle. Top it up with the rosemary water. Discard any extra water or save in the fridge to top up the bottle as needed

Use the rosemary hair rinse after shampooing in place of conditioner. Apply a generous amount on damp hair and let it sit for 15 minutes while you wash or exfoliate. Rinse well

TIP: Be mindful of having a glass bottle in your shower. If you are concerned, use a BPA-free plastic bottle instead. The shelf life of each batch of rosemary hair rinse is approximately one week
